I hope that my not updating this journal in... forever, is enough to get the few people who watch me to look at this. Because I think it's important.

This whole issue with jark leaving... I didn't much care about it really. So jark got fired? So what? But upon closer inspection, this /is/ a big deal. There's something going on. The fact that the most loyal members of the community are in an uproar about this is not a coincidence. This is not just whining about jark getting fired.

This is something much larger, and it scares me.

If this gets deleted (though I doubt I'm popular enough for the higher-ups to notice), like others have been, then I shall post a link to my LiveJournal, where I will post this as well. So.

I'm leaving. I'm delteing all my work, and I'm leaving. I won't sell prints. I won't have scraps.

This is my form of protest. This is how to do it. You don't stop posting art for one day and then start up again the next day. If you don't like the way the boat is going, then you jump ship. And take your luggage with you.

I encourage others to do this too. Though I doubt any will. It's hard, isn't it? I don't look forward to it. I don't want to delete everything. But this I believe has more impact.

This is how it is, and how it will stay. I just really hope that others can see too.
